I was an avid reader, so Hubby has a lot more of my books to add here, studying many things, most frequently health books, medical texts and books on learning better communication skills.

These are a few of the books I had in my library, click on the image to be taken to Amazon to place an order for the book:

The Malalignment Syndrome: diagnosis and treatment of common pelvic and back pain, 2nd edition [Hardcover] by Wolf Schamberger.

This was the last book I bought. I agonized a long time about spending the $120 for a book, due to my frugal nature. I waited for the Second Edition to come out and finally spent the money. I was planning on going to a surgeon in Georgia that did hip surgery and had a physical therapist properly align the hip during the procedure. I could find no one else in the world that had a surgeon and physical therapist working together during surgery. I talk about my hip problem here in My Story.

After my death, Hubby gave this book to my friend and physical therapist Linda Thompson Archibald, knowing that she would put it to good use. Linda was one of the few the helped me. Also my struggles inspired her to go back to school to get her degree so that she can help others that had issues like mine.

My Mommy Has A Leaky Brain (Volume)

My Mommy Has A Leaky Brain Version 2 (Volume)

My friend Pam Tomlinson publishes books to help children understand issues, such as CSF Leaks, OCD, why daddy is in jail etc. Sadly I never got to read any of them. :-(

These three books on relationships helped Hubby and I understand each other and get along a lot better than before we read them. Females must understand that Males like Projects not Routines. Males must understand that Females do not want you to be Mr. Fix It. They usually simply want someone who listens to them, not just hear words.

Why Can't You Read My Mind? Overcoming the 9 Toxic Thought Patterns that Get in the Way of a Loving Relationship by Ph.D. Jeffrey Bernstein Ph.D.

Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus: The Classic Guide to Understanding the Opposite Sex by John Gray.

Why Mars and Venus Collide: Improving Relationships by Understanding How Men and Women Cope Differently with Stress by John Gray.

We did not know about these two books below, we would have read them if we did. Hubby's job is stressful, sometimes I fell he takes the stress out on me since he can't take it out on his boss. He has never been physically abusive, mentally yes. [I never realized how much I was hurting Karen by not getting my own depression treated until I read some of the things she wrote after her death. :-( That made me face my own demons. Reusme anyone?]

Mars and Venus in the Bedroom: A Guide to Lasting Romance and Passion by John Gray.

How to Get What You Want at Work: A Practical Guide for Improving Communication and Getting Results by John Gray.

Sadly Hubby and I did not realize the significance of the Dura when he wrote Trepann2 for one of his favorite hangouts, KeelyNet, in 1996.

Your Inner Physician and You: Craniosacral Therapy and Somatoemotional Release by John E. Upledger.

Somato Emotional Release and Beyond by John E. Upledger and Frank Lowen.

One aspect of SER is this: Take a physical trauma for example. The energy goes into the body and gets trapped there. To get the energy out, the body must be in the same physical position as when it went in.

Craniosacral Therapy by John E. Upledger and Jon D. Vredevoogd.

Craniosacral Therapy II: Beyond the Dura by John E. Upledger.

The Egoscue Method of Health Through Motion: Revolutionary Program That Lets You Rediscover the Body's Power to Rejuvenate It by Pete Egoscue.

People who knew me well, know that I would study any subject to learn all that could be learned about it. One of the subjects was funeral planing and how the funeral industry worked to make a profit. Hubby took the book:

“The AFFORDABLE Funeral: Going in *Style*, Not in *Debt!*” by R. E. Markin.

when he planned my funeral. He got $2000+ off the price.

[Never buy one of their 'packages'. Buy your own urn for cremation or put the money in to the cost of a good head stone, not the cost of a casket. Also keep in mind these people are a business, they are not your friends no mater how friendly they are, they are out to make money!]

[Make sure you have at least $15,000 in Life Insurance to cover the cost of your funeral and the paper work! Dying is expensive! For reasons unknow the price Amazon shows fluctuates wildely from $5 to $499.99.]

The manual is carefully written to clearly communicate with a wide variety of people. Information and illustrations are presented tastefully and in a non-threatening manner. The book also discusses communication, shyness, sensuality and pain avoidance strategies. Physical sex techniques are categorized according to Extension Principle, Flexion Principle, and Sacro-iliac Dysfunction which are fully explained.
